JUSTINE PEÑA
Theater Consultant Mentor

​Before entering the realms of education, Teacher Jussy had her place in the corporate world. The demands for her skills has garnered her experience as a director and production manager; which is just merely a few of her experiences. Teacher Jussy entered the world of education teaching music and movements to preschool pupils.

​As Teacher Jussy taught, she has entered a whole new door of experience; Teacher Jussy had found her way in theatre. She has been a talent in numerous shows both international and local; playing the main role, Cinderella, is just one of them. Miss Justine holds regular workshops for both children and professionals looking to increase their repertoire of skills. Her experience paired both with her outstanding skills, Teacher Jussy plays an extraordinary role in HSG's team.

​BEA LESACA
Dance Opportunity Class Mentor

Teacher Bea is a member of the world renowned hip hop group Philippine All-Stars. She is the first Filipina bgirl that represented the Philippines at the Mighty 4 Hiphop Festival, a Hip Hop Festival based in San Francisco, USA. Teacher Bea has recently appeared in multiple television commercials as well. A dance artist at heart, Teacher Bea makes it a point to learn and teach what breaking and hiphop is all about. Teacher Bea is from the University of the Philippines.

CRYSTAL RODIS-CONCEPCION
Music Opportunity Class Mentor

Teacher Crystal completed her degree in Bachelor of Music from the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Music as Magna Cum Laude in 2009. Before she entered UP, she graduated as valedictorian of her batch in the Philippine High School for Arts (PHSA), wherein she also garnered the Artistic Excellence Award as the MARIA Scholarship for her college education. She was also a scholar of the UP College of Music Extension Program during her college studies.
​
Aside from her educational scholarships, she also received international scholarships for music camps such as in Interlochen Arts Camp, Michigan, USA in 2001 and the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra and Wind Ensemble in Salaya, Thailand in 2005, 2007 and 2008. Teacher Crystal is a three-time winner of the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA).

KARINA MIA CASTRO
Enhancement Program Mentor

​Miss Karina served as the Assistant Principal of Headway School for Giftedness for the school year 2016-2017, but followed her calling in the teaching profession. She attained her undergraduate degree at U.P Diliman focusing on Home Economics, major in Home Economics Education. She is currently taking up her master’s degree focusing on Educational Administration. She is a licensed teacher and has worked in various schools, handling pupils from preschool to the elementary levels.
​
Due to the increasing demands of her skills in the field of education, Miss Karina had been invited to speak on topics like Stress Management as well as Responsibilities and Passion of Teachers. She was also invited as a speaker at the 2016 International Conference on Teacher Education held at U.P. Diliman. With the level of her skills and attainments in her profession, she is indeed a natural-born leader. 


SPECIAL MUSIC CLASS MENTORS

KORKI GUADA BOBIS
Guitar / Piano Mentor

Teacher Korki completed a course in Performing Musical Arts, major in guitar, minor in piano and basic cello at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Teacher Korki is taking her second course in Guitar at the University of Santo Tomas. She is also a member of the UST Guitar Ensemble.

ASHLEIGH CRISTOBAL
Violin / Piano Mentor

Teacher Ashleigh completed her degree at the University of the Philippines College of Music. She is an experienced violin mentor and is a member/performer for various orchestras which include the PREDIS Chamber Orchestra and UP Orchestra.

RENZ BORJA
Voice / Piano Mentor

Teacher Renz is an alumnus of Headway School for Giftedness, having studied in the institution from Grade 2 to Grade 6. He graduated from New Era University with a Bachelor in Music degree, Major in Choral Conducting, Concentration on Voice, Minor on Trumpet.

​He is an Assistance Conductor of the Iglesia ni Cristo All Boys' Choir and was an honorary member of the Singing Ambassadors of the University of the Philippines.
