HSG's Inaugural Concert at the Meralco Theater a Success!

December 5, 2010 - The country's premiere performance theater served as venue to Headway School for Giftedness' inaugural variety concert dubbed "A Special Gift this Christmas". HSG's over 130 students, team of administration, faculty and assistant teachers consolidated their efforts to come out with a finely crafted 2 1/2 hour performance. The program consisted of dances and song numbers enhanced by theatrical moves and colorful costumes. Thanks to Show Director Jonas Abueva, who contributed his creativity and talent, Jog Nebres of Team Vibe Pilipinas, Musical Trainer Britt Chase and premiere pianist Glenn Lemen.

Through this concert, we have made our learning objectives possible: for our children to (1) contribute their talents for an actual and professional production, (2) to acquire the proper self discipline entailed to achieving an organized group effort (such as meeting schedules, changing costumes, waiting patiently, etc., and (3) to gain an opportunity to perform in a professional venue such as the Meralco Theater, where the most important plays and peformances are staged.
