MARIA LUZ B. ESTUDILLO
Founder 
/ Directress / Counselor
Miss Estudillo is the founder and directress of Headway School for Giftedness (HSG), the pioneering institution in gifted education and a school that provides an environment that nurtures the innate gifts and talents of young learners. She is also currently the on-call resident psycho-social facilitator for ABS-CBN.
She completed a Masters Degree in Guidance & Counseling at the University of the Philippines and underwent various training on special and gifted education in the USA and Australia.
Aside from experience and expertise in gifted education, Miss Luz practices in the field of counseling for more than 25 years. She has traveled around the country and abroad for training on Gifted Education Assessment, Programming and Counseling. 
Drawing on her vast experience in counseling, she also specializes in Individual and/or Group Psychological testing, ADHD, Children’s Behavioral Problems, Parenting Education, Child Abuse and Sexual Harassment Issues and Inclusive System.

MARY IPHIGENE DARADAR
School and Administrative Consultant
​Psychologist Practitioner / MLE Board Director

Miss Mary's passion for working with children radiates in her work as a counselor to many HSG pupils.  She facilitates testing activities for the children as well. Miss Mary is also an educator-trainer on the emotional development of children, speaking in different seminars and workshops organized by the school. Miss Mary is an MA candidate at the Ateneo de Manila University, under a Masteral of Arts in Development Psychology specializing in the Human Development Intervention Track. She finished her degree in Psychology from Kalayaan College.
She served as instructor in the said university, teaching courses in Psychology and Social Science for three consecutive years. Ms. Daradar became Head of Marketing at DTF Consulting in Greenhills, Manila and headed the Marketing Group of Phoenix One, a new media design training company in Makati. Currently, she is a part-time professor for an international school teaching Senior High School and College students.

LADY ANN SALEM
Board of Trustees / Academic Consultant
Miss Icy served as Assistant Principal of Headway School for Giftedness from 2006-2008, mastering the implementation of HSG's curricular program and aligning it with the school's vision, mission and philosophy. She also served as mentor for drama and creative writing, citing that her interactions with children have always been the most fulfilling and exciting part of the job. She attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Communication in the University of the Philippines Diliman and is currently taking up her Masters of Development Communication degree from the same university.

DR. REYNILDA SALANDANAN
Board of Trustees / Psychologist Practitioner

Dr. Gigi has served as one of the school’s psychologists since the school started. Because of her familiarity with the school and its students, she has been a regular resource person for the school’s parenting seminars and conferences. Dr. Salandanan finished her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. She took her Master of Arts in Psychology at the same university and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at St. Paul’s College, Quezon City. 
She was trained in highly-specialized topics of management, research, psychology, leadership and career development, among others. She has conducted trainings for effective childhood teaching, stress management and parenting. She is affiliated with the Psychological Association of the Philippines, Philippine Association for the Gifted and the International Royal Institute of Psychologists.

MA. TERESA YUVIENCO
School Consultant / Board of Trustees

Miss Tessa’s focus includes teaching methodologies, 21st Century teaching and learning skills. She has facilitated numerous workshops, training programs and speaking engagements on Creative Teaching Methodologies and Oral/Written Communication Skills in various public and private schools, colleges, universities and private Companies.
Miss Tessa completed her Master of Arts in Special Education and Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Theater Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman. She is engaged in various marketing, education and training work which allows her to design, develop, implement and evaluate curriculum for ICT-enhanced delivery, teacher training programs and creative teaching strategies.

JOEL C. YUVIENCO
ICT Education Practitioner / School Consultant

Sir Joel’s specialization includes instructional architecture of flexible learning spaces, E-learning and training module design, and online community management. Together with Miss Tessa Yuvienco and other colleagues, he developed a Document Management System using open source technology.
Sir Joel completed his degree in Statistics and LLB at the University of the Philippines. He received his MBA in Development and Industrialization at the University of Liverpool. He also taught at the Miriam College.
Sir Joel worked as an Application Designer/Developer in production of a CD-ROM database of Investigative Journal articles for the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism. He was also a Technical Writer and developed a User Manual for the Official Video Database of Philippine President under Radio-Television Malacanang.

Fr. Jonathan Advincula Bitoy, CMF, a Claretian Missionary who is a faculty member of the Institute of Consecrated Life in Asia (ICLA) and Assistant Director for Claretian Communication.

IJSSEL ALEJANDRO MENES
Principal
A graduate of Communication from the University of the Philippines Baguio, he has been exposed to leadership, administrative, and teaching positions. He completed his Master's Degree in Development Communication at the University of the Philippines Open University. Sir Al teaches Communication Arts at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde – Antipolo, mostly handling Communication Theories, Organizational Communication, and Development Communication. He also has experience in Curriculum Development, having been involved in designing academic programs, writing instructional materials, and training teachers for various schools. He also helps in creating content for Personality Matters, Inc. a consulting firm that specializes in coaching, leadership, and organizational development.

Sir Al has been in the field of education since 2008, having handled students across different levels from elementary to college. In those years, he has developed a great sense of passion for teaching, adopting a philosophy that 'teachers should cater to the uniqueness of every learner.' He is a firm believer that 'individual differences should be embraced, and it is through education that we can make the world a better place.' Sir Al is very passionate about handling and seeing students grow to their fullest potential.

Cashier / Finance Officer / Board of Trustees

Miss Vickie has been with HSG for over eleven years, making her a familiar face to HSG parents, pupils and alumni. She is highly-proficient in the day-to-day dealings inside the school.




SECURITY AND MAINTENANCE TEAM
for S.Y. 2019-2020

HSG's highly reliable security and maintenance staff, together with the whole HSG Team, make sure that the students are present in the vicinity and fetchers are properly identified. Despite their firmness, the HSG Kuyas and Ate are approachable and always work out a great smile to greet the students, parents and guardians.
